YABATECH Cut Off Mark for the 2025/2026 academic session has been announced, for candidates who select YABATECH must score at least 150 for ND full-time programmes.

YABA College of Technology popularly known as YABATECH was the first higher educational institution in Nigeria, founded in 1947. YABATECH Cut Off Mark has been announced for National Diploma (ND) and Bachelor of Science in Education (BSc[Ed]) programs for 2025/2026 academic session.

Degree Courses: 160

Candidates that choose YABATECH has their preferred college must score at least 150 in JAMB Exam.

Other requirements includes 5 O-level credit pass including English and Mathematics.

YABATECH minimum JAMB score

• 150 Scores in JAMB for ND
• 160 Scores in JAMB for Degree Courses.

After achieving this, you will now calculate your aggregate scores with your POST UTME to be qualified for the Admission.

How to calculate YABATECH aggregate score

You can calculate YABATECH aggregate score by dividing your JAMB score by 8 and divide your YABATECH Post-UTME score divided by 2 and add the results together.

Example of how to calculate your YABATECH Aggregate Score:

Step 1: Write down your JAMB score divide it by 8
Step 2: Divide your YABATECH Post-UTME score by 2
Step 3: Add the results from steps 1 and 2 together

Now check the departmental grading with your aggregate score for you to know if you’re qualified.

How to apply for YABATECH Post UTME form 2025/2026

To apply for YABATECH Post UTME admission form, you must have scored minimum of 150 in JAMB for ND programme and 160, for Degree courses and also chose YABATECH as their First Choice Institution to be eligible.

However, if you chose YABATECH as the second choice you are required to change it to First Choice on the JAMB Portal to be eligible for the admission.

And only candidates that at least 16 years and above are allowed to apply, if you not up to 16 years, you are advised not to apply.

Method of Application
Candidates are to pay POST UTME processing fee of N2000 (Two Thousand Naira) this excludes result verification fee and any transaction charges.

Payment can be paid via the school portal or via bank. The school did not accept cash payment.

Applicants are advised to visit the School portal at www.yabatech.edu.ng Then click on “POST UTME SCREENING 2025/2026” and follow the instruction to complete your application process.

What is the process for applying for YABATECH’s post-UTME screening

To apply for YABATECH’s Post-UTME screening, follow these steps below

Step 1: Access the YABATECH Application Portal by visiting the official YABATECH website and locating the “POST UTME SCREENING 2024/2025” link or the application section.

Step 2: Generate an invoice by providing your JAMB Registration Number along with any other necessary information to obtain the Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR).

Step 3: Pay the application fee of ₦2,000, which is non-refundable. Payments can be made online through Remita or at any commercial bank across the country; cash payments are not accepted.

Step 4: Complete your application by logging back into the YABATECH portal and filling out the application form with all required details, including your O’Level results.

Step 5: Review all entered information for accuracy before submitting the form, and then download and print the screening application slip, which is essential for the screening process.

YABATECH UTME screening requirements is 150 Scores in JAMB for ND and 160 Scores in JAMB for Degree Courses, and you must be at least 16 or above to be eligible.

This is how you calculate YABATECH Cut Off Mark, Let’s say you scored 230 in JAMB and 60 in the Post-UTME:-

JAMB Score: 230 ÷ 8 = 28.75
Post-UTME Score: 60 ÷ 2 = 30
Aggregate Score: 28.75 + 30 = 58.75
